Cathy Howard,
President of MPC, is an industry trainer and a highly effective
hiring consultant. Since 1987 she has developed, practiced, and
taught her staff, as well as other recruiting firms, the utilization
of advanced methodologies in career placement.
In 1987, after
her graduate work in Industrial Psychology along
with Harvard University coursework in Career Counseling,
Marketing, and Management, Ms.
Howard joined a prestigious 25-year-old recruiting firm in Indianapolis.
The firm was noted by the television program 60 Minutes
and numerous business magazines for its exceptional education and
on-going training. While there, she served as a board member and
directed a nationwide AS/400 hiring campaign in 26 states.
In 1990 Ms.
Howard founded Midrange Personnel Connection, Inc., a full-service
staffing company specializing in the placement of iSeries
and AS/400 professionals. As the technology industry
has evolved, her company has expanded to include staffing services
for IT professionals of every discipline. MPC is
a member of the ISSA
(Indiana Staffing and Search Association), and Ms. Howard has served
on ISSA’s Legislative, Ethics, and Newsletter Committees.
In addition
to her responsibilities at MPC, she currently holds positions on
several firms' Boards of Directors. She is also a consultant to
numerous clients in design and implementation of Change Management
Services and Human Resource Services. She has taught Interview and
Resume Development classes at Crossroads Rehabilitation Center,
University of Indianapolis, Butler University, and IUPUI, and speaks
at business network groups.
